Somewhere between a concert and a cocktail party, Allegro Orchestra’s ‘Music in the Round’ concert series features shorter performances in intimate settings, preceded by a festive reception with desserts and beverages. This installment of Music in the Round will take place at the newest destination in downtown Lancaster’s vibrant arts scene: The Lancaster Art Vault. With the musicians positioned in the heart of the gallery, audiences can enjoy a true Music in the Round experience while appreciating local art. This concert features an exciting repertoire of pastoral-themed music from Mozart, Vincent Indy, and Haydn’s Symphony No. 3 “The Hen,” for which the concert is named.
