Enjoy the rugged terrain of the House Rock area at Clark Nature Preserve. Join us as we capture the geological features of the overlook and its fantastic view of the Susquehanna River. No experience required. This is a no judgement zone!
What to Expect and How to Prepare: This event will include an approximately 1-mile round-trip hike on a rocky trail with moderate inclines. There is a 30-foot rock scramble to get to House Rock Overlook. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, and bring drinking water. Participants are asked to supply their own sketchbooks, field supplies, and camp chair or sit pad if necessary; also consider bringing your favorite journaling bag or carry system to share with the group. This event is recommended for ages 12 and up (participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There are port-a-johns available on site.
Refund Policy: These events usually sell out. If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket, please let us know so we can open a spot to someone on the waitlist. Refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.
