DESCRIPTION:Sign up here for registration for the Lititz Lions Patriotic Parade (July 4\, 2026)\n\n\n*READ THIS BEFORE COMPLETING REGISTRATION!!* \nLititz Lions Club July 4th Parade Rules. Theme: July 4th and our nation’s 250th Birthday \n \nSaturday\, July 4th. 11 AM No Rain Date \n \nParade route is approx. 1 mile and starts at Locust St.\, heads west on Main St.\, left on Broad St.\, right on Orange St.\, and disbands at Warwick High School. Staging location will be sent to you prior to the parade and must be confirmed at the registration table on parade day. \n \nA. Registration and Fees: \n \n1. All participating groups must register to be assigned a position in the parade. When submitting a registration you are declaring you have read\, understand and will abide by these parade rules. \n \n2. Registration and payment ($250) is required for all commercial/business entries. Fee reserves one spot (either walking group or vehicle unit). Additional units are $100/each. Payment is due at time of registration. \n \n3. If parade is canceled\, fees are not refundable and will be used to sponsor future Lions events and/or donated back to the community at the discretion of the Lions Club. \n \n4. Commercial/Business entries (floats\, cars\, trucks\, etc.) must have vehicles decorated in keeping with the July 4th celebration and/or our nation’s 250th birthday. \n \nB. Registration Fee Exemptions: \n \n1. Sitting elected officials within Lititz Borough\, Warwick Township\, or Elizabeth Township do not need to pay registration fee. All others seeking election and/or are outside of these demographic areas ARE NOT permitted to register in this event. Candidates running for office may not campaign. \n \n2. Veterans groups\, school-sponsored groups are not required to pay the registration fee. \n \n3. First responders do not have to pay registration fee. \n \n4. Marching bands and small musical groups on floats are encouraged to participate and do not have to pay the registration fee. If unit is sponsored\, you are responsible for the sponsorship sign or banner. \nC. General Guidelines: \n \n1. On parade day\, all registered units must have one person from your group sign in at the registration table located on the parking lot of Garman Builders at the corner of E. Main and Oak Streets. Your parade location and staging area will be reconfirmed at this time. Registration table opens at 9:30 AM. \n \n2. The parade must proceed at a steady pace\, keeping 20 to 30 feet between units. Distances must be maintained to prevent gaps in the parade\, and you must keep pace with the unit in front of you. \n \n3. All marching units are encouraged to have a banner or signage identifying your group. Banners and banner carriers are your responsibility. \n \n4. If you are distributing literature or candy\, LITITZ POLICE PROHIBIT TOSSING ITEMS FROM VEHICLES\, INCLUDING FLOATS. Walkers must hand out items close to spectators on the sidewalks. \n \n5. Groups distributing candy will need approx. 60-80 Lbs. to complete the parade route. \n \n6. Groups may not stop to perform. Dancers\, baton twirlers\, drill teams\, etc.\, can perform if done so while moving. Stopping to perform creates gaps in the parade and is not allowed. \n \n7. Units with horses must have diapers or pooper-scoopers. \n \n8. All marching units should be in position no later than 30 minutes prior to parade start time. \n \n9. Lions International Constitution and ByLaws prohibit endorsement of politicians and/or political agendas. Groups with political agendas may not register.
