The Pleasantest Country as Can Be: Columbia’s First Settlers

The Columbia 300 Speaker Series begins on Thursday, February 19th, at 6:30 PM. Elizabeth Dilllon of the Wright’s Ferry Mansion will talk about the Quakers who settled the area in 1726 and how the village of Wright’s Ferry soon became a gateway to the west.

“The Pleasantest Country as Can Be: Columbia’s First Settlers” will be hosted by the National Watch and Clock Museum. Admission to the Columbia 300 Speaker Series is free!
