SUMMARY:Pass the Aux
DESCRIPTION:with the theme WORK FLOW. Five featured\nartists will take the stage: benOAKS\, Circumstantial Saint\, Karma\nStar\, GMS\, and the BJEWELLED. \nEach guest gets 5 to 10 minutes to break down their creative workflow\,\nthen plays their latest or favorite music: recordings\, beats\, and\nmore. Part performance\, part process\, the night gives the audience a\nlook inside how independent 717 artists actually make their music. \nThe event also includes 7 open aux spots and an open cypher running\nthroughout the night. Emcees\, singers\, and poets are invited to come\nready to share on the mic. \nThe bill brings together some of the most active voices in Lancaster’s\nindependent music scene. benOAKS is an independent hiphop artist\,\nproducer\, and graphic artist whose single “Empathy” (with 66notes) is\nin national indie and college radio rotation; his new single “Fall\nDown” featuring Karma Star hits all streaming platforms on October 23\,\n2026. Circumstantial Saint (Jontel Toland) is a poet\, spoken word\nperformer\, author\, and host of the monthly Puff & Poet open mic at\nHempfield Apothetique. Karma Star and GMS both performed at the Indie\nArtist Workshop showcase at Hempfield Apothetique and feature on\nbenOAKS’s upcoming EP.
