Every performance features a new person on stage and a completely one-of-a-kind experience shaped by the people who are present. \nMoving\, funny\, and unforgettable. \nDon’t miss the regional premiere everyone will be talking about. \nProduced by special permission of writer Nassim Soleimanpour.

SUMMARY:All About Pawpaws: Guided Nature Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we explore the unique relationship between pawpaws\, pollinators\, and our landscape.\n\n\nDescribed as a blend between a mango and banana\, the pawpaw is Pennsylvania’s largest native fruit. However\, you will not find them on grocery store shelves\, as their shelf life is extremely brief\, turning from unripe to overripe in a week or less. This fruit was a favorite of early US presidents and a tasty morsal to mastodons. Fossilized seeds indicate the pawpaw has been part of the human North American diet since 300BC. \nDuring this 2.2-mile strenuous hike\, we will hike up the hillside above the Enola Low-grade Rail Trail on a rocky trail. Along the way\, learn about pawpaws: their history on the landscape\, their pollinators\, and how to identify these fruit-bearing trees. On our out-and-back hike we will pause at an overlook to take in the Susquehanna River. \n(Please note: we will not be foraging during this hike.) \nThis event is part of Horn Farm Center’s Wild & Uncommon Weekend\, a weekend of family-friendly events and experiences that celebrate the unique food\, art\, and natural landscape of York County\, Pennsylvania! Lancaster Conservancy is excited to participate in this weekend of fun activities around the Susquehanna Riverlands. \nWhat to Expect: Anticipate a steep\, rocky uphill and then a steep\, rocky downhill on this out-and-back route. This hike is ideal for those comfortable hiking uphill right at the start of a hike and with prior hiking experience. A port-a-john is available on site. This hike is for ages 13 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). \nWhat to Bring: Wear sturdy hiking shoes. Bring water\, a snack\, and pertinent personal first aid/medications. Hiking poles may be useful. Headlamps are encouraged since we’ll be hiking past sunset. \nRefund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket\, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event. \nCancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine\, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event\, attendees will be emailed and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date. If the Conservancy cancels the event\, attendees will be notified via email when possible and refunded.

SUMMARY:PDF@Zoetropolis presents Everything Everywhere All At Once
DESCRIPTION:PDF@Zoetropolis: Everything Everywhere All at Once \nWhat if you could see every life you might have lived? Would you find yourself—or lose yourself among the possibilities? \nOur America 250 series continues its exploration of Reinvention & Transformation with Everything Everywhere All at Once. Michelle Yeoh stars as Evelyn Wang\, a Chinese American immigrant juggling a struggling laundromat\, an IRS audit\, and a family she can’t quite hold together—until an encounter with the multiverse sends her hurtling through the lives she might have led. \nWildly inventive\, funny\, and moving\, the film takes America’s promise of self-reinvention to an extraordinary extreme. If we could become anyone\, what would make this particular life worth choosing? And can kindness offer a meaningful response to a world that seems increasingly overwhelming? \nJoin us for a brief pre-screening presentation\, the film\, and a post-screening discussion. A specialty cocktail inspired by the film will be available to complement the evening. \nNo philosophy background required—just curiosity and a willingness to venture into the multiverse.

SUMMARY:Exploring Beginner Astronomy
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of beginner level astronomy while we observe the night sky!\n\n\nHave you ever wanted to learn more about the stars and planets? Join us for an evening under the stars as we learn more about the importance of darkness and how to capture images of the night sky. In this program\, attendees will be introduced to astrophotography\, navigation of the night sky\, learn basic constellations and astronomical objects including the moon\, important stars and any visible planets. \nWhat to Expect and How to Prepare: Please arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. – the program will start at 9:00 p.m. We ask for your promptness to avoid light pollution and noise disruption. We will be setting up in an open field area or along the universally accessible (UA) trail at Clark Nature Preserve. Please arrive promptly to set up your night sky viewing space in the meadow or on the UA trail prior to the program start time of 9:00 p.m. \nPlease dress appropriately for the weather. Personal insect repellent is recommended. Binoculars and telescopes are highly suggested – there will be a few telescopes for shared viewing. We recommend bringing a chair (reclining recommended!) or blanket. Water or non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are permitted. We recommend downloading a flashlight app on Android or iPhone with a red light function or bringing a headlamp with a red light setting. No white light is to be used during this event. There will be a port-a-john on site. Appropriate for ages 12 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). \nNote: Lancaster Conservancy nature preserves are closed for regular visitation from dusk to dawn\, except for select Conservancy-led educational events. \nAbout the Presenter: George Eppig will be co-leading this event. George was raised in Maryland\, about 30 minutes north of Baltimore. Growing up\, he always had an interest in nature and was taking trips with his mom regularly to places like Algonquin\, Nova Scotia\, or Maine. After graduating from Penn State University\, he took a job working as a deckhand aboard a pungy schooner named The Lady Maryland\, which is where he discovered a love photography. Seeing incredible sights while working aboard the ship prompted him to want to share what he was seeing with others\, and so he bought his first camera to begin a now 18-year long journey to capture nature and tell meaningful stories about our world. When not out taking photographs\, George is a stay-at-home dad to his two amazing boys ages 4 and 2\, and enjoys spending time with them along with his incredible wife\, Rachel. \nRefund Policy: These events often sell out. If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket\, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event. \nAnimal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home. \n\n\nThank you to our generous annual sponsors for making this event possible!
