Then\, we’ll explore tools for generating your own writing about ecology\, plants\, wildlife\, wilderness experiences\, and related topics. No writing background is necessary! \nParticipants will walk away with a creative writing “toolkit” to help stoke ideas\, dismantle writer’s block\, and support the creation of personal or professional nature-focused writing. \n \nThe Lancaster Conservancy has protected over 11\,000 acres of natural lands\, which are critically important to supporting biodiversity. Smaller patches of native habitats spread throughout urban landscapes are also essential to creating corridors of habitat – food and refuge – for wildlife. This is why we are offering our Habitat Advocate classes at Tec Centro in Lancaster City. \nThe cost of the Habitat Advocate classes covers instructor fees. The work involves using loppers and hand saws to cut shrubs at their base. Some of the shrubs have thorns. All tools and work gloves are provided.
