DESCRIPTION:Game on! \nWe’re partnering with the Lancaster Rec Esports program for a day of video game design and play! Compete in popular games like Super Smash Brothers™ and Mario Kart™. Players can test their skills\, cheer on friends\, and experience the excitement of esports in a welcoming\, supportive environment.\n\nVisitors of all ages can also participate in our Play for Impact Video Game Design Workshops. Participants will design\, develop\, and test their own video game using Scratch\, a block-based programming tool.\n\nStay tuned for more video game fun as the event gets closer!  This event is presented free with admission.  \nClick here to purchase tickets in advance for April 11th. Tickets will also be sold at the door.\nWhy Video Games and Esports?\nEsports is one of the fastest-growing career fields in the world\, offering opportunities not only as players but also in areas like computer programming\, digital art\, broadcasting\, marketing\, and game development.
