DESCRIPTION:Naturalist Keith Williams shares his adventures snorkeling the rivers and streams of the Susquehanna Riverlands.\n\n\nWe often perceive that there isn’t much to see beneath the surface of freshwater rivers and streams\, but once we look underwater\, an amazing world appears. Fish of incredibly diverse colors\, shapes\, and behaviors live in these freshwater ecosystems. These breathtaking streamscapes give humans the opportunity to witness incredible ecological feats such as thousand-mile fish migrations\, predator-prey interactions\, and the vibrant colors of mating displays. The underwater world of our rivers and streams is unexpected\, largely unnoticed\, and amazing! Underwater naturalist Keith Williams will share his adventures exploring and discovering the underwater world of our Susquehanna Riverlands in this engaging presentation. \nThis event is part of York Watershed Week. Learn more and view the full event schedule. \nWhat to Expect: This presentation will be given in an indoor\, seated format. Restrooms are available on-site. \nRefund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket\, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event. \nCancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine\, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event\, attendees will be emailed and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date.
