A short documentary about the rural Iowa schoolteacher who became a national voice against racism after her 1968 discrimination lesson with an all-white third-grade class. Now in her late eighties, she is still speaking out.

Presented by the League of Women Voters of Lancaster County. The discussion panel includes Todd Mealy, educator and author of Shade of Brown, which inspired the documentary, and local Lancastrian Matt Johnson, among others.

Doors open at 11:30 AM; the film starts promptly at noon.
