Find the Good Day – Women Leading Positive Change in Our Community Panel Discussion

September 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Come Find the Good and Be Part of It.
Join the Junior League of Lancaster for an inspiring evening celebrating the women who are finding and creating positive change across Lancaster County.
At the heart of the evening is “Find the Good Day: Women Leading Positive Change in Our Community,” a dynamic panel discussion moderated by journalist McKenna Alexander. Hear firsthand from five accomplished local leaders whose work is making an impact across our community:
Public Service & Government – Alice Yoder, Lancaster County Commissioner
Healthcare – Alisa Maria Jones, President & CEO of Union Community Care
Nonprofit Leadership – Vanessa Philbert, CEO of Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County
Education – Damaris Rau, Interim CEO of La Academia Partnership Charter School and former Superintendent of the School District of Lancaster
Business & Entrepreneurship – Anna Brendle Kennedy, Executive Director of Touchstone Foundation
Together, they’ll share perspectives, experiences, and inspiration about what it means to lead, serve, and create meaningful change right here in our community.
The evening begins with a small reception featuring networking, light hors d’oeuvres, and refreshments. Following opening remarks from JLL President Carrie McCullough, guests will experience a special mission moment, hear from our panel of changemakers, participate in Q&A, and leave with a renewed sense of purpose and a call to action.
Whether you’re a longtime community leader, a passionate volunteer, a prospective Junior League member, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this is an evening to connect, be inspired, and discover what’s possible when women come together to create change.
