Music on the Map presents: Unique fingerstyle guitar and violin in a cozy living room in Lancaster, PA. “Brubaker is a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based, percussive fingerstyle guitarist. Combining traditional, melodic fingerstyle playing with the rhythmic drive from two hand tapping and percussive hits on the body and strings of the guitar, he couples technique with elements such as live looping to create complex soundscapes.” https://alexbrubakerguitar.com/ Violinist Joe Cheng will join Brubaker to provide a unique collaboration of sounds and styles in instrumental music.

What’s a house concert? Neighbors, music aficionados, and friends (old & new) join to create a comfy, respectful listening atmosphere. Suggested donation is $10+ if you can, but Music on the Map is always pay-what-you-will with all donations directly supporting the musical artist. The address (in Northeast Lancaster City) & parking instructions will be sent to attendees prior to the concert, so you need to sign up on the Eventbrite to get the address. Concert starts at 7:00pm with an optional potluck starting at 6:00pm.
