Free Outdoor Summer Concerts in Lancaster, PA

It’s time to pack your most comfortable lawn chair and head out to the free outdoor summer concerts throughout Lancaster County. Get ready for some great music, food trucks, and late summer nights kicking back with family and friends. The Long’s Park Summer Music Series concerts have been a staple of Lancaster summers since 1962. These concerts are fantastic, but Long’s Park is only one of many venues hosting free summer concerts. Long’s Park 

We’ll start with the big one. The Long’s Park Summer Music Series will bring you 12 shows from Jun 7 through August 23. This year, the annual Patriotic concert will feature The Ringgold Band from Reading, PA, along with fireworks and a drone show.

Greenfield Park

This concert series at Greenfield is presented in partnership with Prima Theatre. Enjoy the biggest hits from the 80s in June, the “sounds of summer” in July, and groovy 70s jams in August.

New Holland Community Park

Although they don’t start until July, the New Holland Summer Arts Association hosts more free summer concerts than any other venue in Lancaster County. For two months, you can enjoy free live music three nights per week!

The Strasburg Community Parks Foundation presents the Sounds of Strasburg 2026.

What to Bring

In addition to packing your favorite lawn chair or blanket to sit on, bring some cash or a credit card. While these are free concerts, many will ask for a donation for their park or organization.
